I must replace several allan blocks that have crumbled and allowed the gravel to fall out. These blocks are within a large wall and we need a way to replace individual blocks without tearing the wall down. Is there a way to do this? Need advice. Thanks

We apologize for your frustration. This product is very new for Allan Block and we are working hard with our manufacturers to get the product out into the market. In the short term it is best to contact the local manufacturer to get the most up to date information. In most cases if your local manufacturer is not producing the product, they can get if from a manufacturer who is.

Frustrated. I'm trying to quote out a wall job using the new Fieldstone line. I'm in the Boston area. Not one AB supplier has pricing information to give - it seems not one wall has been build yet with this new product line, at least not in MA. Anyone use the Fieldstone line? Do you like? How much was it in comparison to the Europa and the regular Collection?

I really loved reading your blog. It was very well authored and easy to undertand. Unlike additional blogs I have read which are really not tht good. I also found your entries very interesting. In fact after reading, I had to go show it to my friend and he ejoyed it as well!

I just built a retaining wall planter against my house with the AB Garden Accent collection and was wondering how you make the bricks square off to the wall of the house? I would think you would have to break the top one in half to come out flush but how do you break them?

The flat surface on the bottom of the AB Garden Accent is sufficient for leveling the block. It appears that your question is referring to the notch on each side of the bottom of this block. These notches are there to lock the upper courses of block into the lower course, but they do not interfere with leveling the base course. Be sure to backfill on each side of the bottom part of the base course of block to lock it in place before stacking the next course. You can find installation information for building with AB Garden Accent on our website at http://www.allanblock.com/ca/Installation/gardenaccent/gardenaccent.aspx?ta=6&product=rt

How does one install AB Garden Accent given it is not flat on the bottom? How do you make sure that it is stable?
