How High Can I Go?

  1. I just built a retaining wall planter against my house with the AB Garden Accent collection and was wondering how you make the bricks square off to the wall of the house? I would think you would have to break the top one in half to come out flush but how do you break them?

The flat surface on the bottom of the AB Garden Accent is sufficient for leveling the block. It appears that your question is referring to the notch on each side of the bottom of this block. These notches are there to lock the upper courses of block into the lower course, but they do not interfere with leveling the base course. Be sure to backfill on each side of the bottom part of the base course of block to lock it in place before stacking the next course. You can find installation information for building with AB Garden Accent on our website at http://www.allanblock.com/ca/Installation/gardenaccent/gardenaccent.aspx?ta=6&product=rt

How does one install AB Garden Accent given it is not flat on the bottom? How do you make sure that it is stable?

    Thank you
I would like to use some allen block to build a retainning wall in my back yard. I would also like to do some s design and mulit levels. I need to find engineer or designer that can do a design and plans that I can turn into the city to get approved.
Where do I get someone, or find someone for this task?
    Thanks
